18位に入賞したのは日本人プロの一ノ瀬公聖氏。今回のWSOPでは同じゲームの#7に次ぐ2度目の入賞で、賞金額は20,206ドル。#7に引き続き1万ドルを超える高額賞金を手にした。
一ノ瀬公聖氏は2015年1月より日本人で初めてPoker Starsとプロ契約を行い、GGPoker・Natural8・Pokerstarとプロ契約を交わした経歴があるワールドクラスの日本人プロプレイヤー。オンラインを合わせたトーナメントでの合計獲得賞金は数億円にものぼる。
